Hardware for opencv

Colleagues, how to choose hardware for opencv, on the Internet hundreds of articles for hardware for machinelearning, but how to build a computer for machine vision. In short, my story, I track the movement of an ant in an aquarium is a scientific interest, but I constantly have problems, the loss of an object. Is it possible to do something to increase the capabilities of openCV, as I see it, buy the most sophisticated camera and choose a video card and a percent more powerful for it, is that right? what can be done I used the following functions 1.tracking - cv2.TrackerCSRT_create () and others, 2.hara cascade, 3.color tracking, 4.optical flow, 5. frame difference, maybe forgot?

will you track movement of only one ant? i believe you don't need too sophisticated hardware.do you have a sample short video or an image of your scene?
