Adapt the intrinsic parameters according to the resolution

Hello,

I want to use my intrinsic camera's calibration at 640x480 but I want to get the best accuracy for it. So my idea is to do it at the same image's ratio but at higher resolution and then to apply a ratio on each parameter of my intrinsic matrix to get more precise intrinsic matrix for my 640x480 images.

Do you think it could work properly?
