I can see that I can generate Opencv-*-{deb,lib}.deb from make. I tried dpkg -i Opencv-*-{deb,lib}.deb But nothing happens and I can't still compile my simple program (writing an image) in C++.

opencv does not maintain any prebuilt debian or linux binaries, what you've got will be rather outdated, and we cannot help with any problems using it.

please rather build from src instead

I was trying to build OpenCV so it could be easily deployable in an environment where my other people from my team could easily test my program without compiling opencv. I am now trying to compile static opencv libs tho with no luck for that matter.
