Graycode pattern VS Checkerboard (calibration)

Hello,

I want to calibrate the projector and RGB camera.

Which of the 'Graycode pattern calibration' and 'Checkerboard calibration' methods is better?

I want to know the advantages and disadvantages of Method Graycode pattern and Method Checkerboard.

I mean that a structured light of this url.

structured light patterns are used to calibrate a projector, checkerboards (or asym. cirles, or aruco boards) to calibrate a camera.

2 different pair of shoes.

RoomAlive uses structured light to calibrate Kinect and Projector. Do you know why? (Please refer to questionnaire URL related to RoomAlive)

i don't think, we can help you with RoomAlive, but we can help you, if you want to use the contrib structured light or phase_unwrapping modules
