Hologram Detection With Irregular Patterns

Is there any way to detect holograms that are embedded in id cards which aren't that visible. I've searched stack and this forum for similar ones using mobile ar but the holograms there were quite visible mine aint. Check this out for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6Fo...
