How do I correct grammatical mistakes on opencv.wiki?

asked 2018-10-02 04:45:55 -0600

In the Coding_Style_Guide wiki there is a grammatical error, and I would like to correct it. It currently says: "The function should be easy embedded into different processing pipelines that use other OpenCV functions."

when it should say: "The function should be easily embedded into different processing pipelines that use other OpenCV functions."

I cloned the wiki - but could not see how to do a PR or anything for wiki.

yes. unfortunately the wiki is read-only. (only devs can change things there)

Unfortunately there is no mechanism of proposing fixes to the Wiki. I've applied your fix manually.

hmm, maybe it does not have to be like this

(strike that. not feasible, since we cannot fork it. it's only good for your own repo, needs write priviledge again.)

@berak @mshabunin . in the same wiki I noticed another grammatical error. The phrase "is put to" is used erroneously a few times in the Files section. It should be replaced by any of the following: "is put into", "is added to", or "is put in". The last one is the preferred. The phrase "is put to" is really only used in two cases: "Is put to death", or "Is put to the test"
