how can I run camera calibration C++ code of Learn OpenCV (Kahler&Bradski)?

Dear OpenCVers, I can not run C++ codes from the windows command line. Can anybody give me some hints in order to how can run the camera calibration code presented in Learn OpenCV book (Kahler and Bradski)?

the original book is from '98 or so. very much outdated.

can you try with a recent (3.4) install, and maybe try a current attempt at it, and report back ?
