Viz alternative for python

Does anyone know of an alternative for using Viz under python? My initial searches led me to conclude Viz is not available.

I don't use python but I think you can use vtk : https://lorensen.github.io/VTKExample...

Thanks I'll take a look at that. Viz seemed to be based on VTK, I'll give it a whirl
