Optimize the video capture

Hello, I try on a raspery to make a loop that capture the video from a webcam and then display the resulting frames on a screen. But the loop is slow. How to accelerate the loop in OpenCV that capture an image, then display the frames on a screen? Thank you, Cjacquel
