Recognition of Numbers and lines on the measuring tape
Hello all,
I would like to ask if it is possible to use OpenCV to recognize the level on which the optical leveler lines are located. For example, I set the level lines at a height of 4 cm, I approve this as the reference level for the software - by pressing the button. Then I measure the level in a different place, and the program signals me (enable sexternal LED's) if I have to raise or lower the object to match the reference value - level on 4 cm high.
Can we use the numbers from the tape (option 1) or maybe use the reference mark (option 2), eg an arrow with a specific shape and color set manually at the appropriate height.
I want to install software on Raspberry PI and use cam to grab picture from optical level. Picture will be displayed on small screen also mounted on Optical Level.
