opencv 3.3 apk too large

I'm building a project in android studio 3.0 using opencv 3.3 The .so files included in the apk are 92.4 MB. Any idea what might be going on?

x86_64 libopencv_java3.so is 33.1 MB x86 libopencv_java3.so is 26.1 MB

the other libopencv_java3.so files (mips, arm) are from 5 to 8 MB
