panning can be done with open cv?

i was looking for zooming and panning option through web cam. but i am not able to find any thing? can u please guide me

No, you should use some SDK for your camera. Here are all available parameters for camera control in OpenCV, but nothing related to your question: http://docs.opencv.org/modules/highgui/doc/reading_and_writing_images_and_video.html#videocapture-set .
