Hi! I am a school student and I am completely new to OpenCV with python. I want to do Object Measurement using OpenCV and Raspberry Pi as my final project. To start with, what is the best site to learn step by step? Any suggestions appreciated!

Thanks!

if you read it carefully, you will find out, that with a single (calibrated) camera,:

  • you can only determine the size, IF you know the distance AND the fov.
  • you can only determine the distance, IF you know fov, and size.
  • yea, ofc., there's a trick. let's see, if you find it ;)

I do like the fact you try to help people in finding solutions, but can we please put some effort in our answers? Simply copy pasting links results in tons of topics rendered useless when the website decides to change its structure... therefore we prefer adding actual answers here.
