Commercial use of Hough Transforms
I believe that this is the Hough Transform patent. I believe Hough Transforms require the purchase of license for commercial use. Can anyone help me with how to obtain this license and pay for its use?
The patent is 50 years old... Only the algorithms in the nonfree-modules are patented, the rest in OpenCV can be used commercially.
Okay. That means I will need to obtain license for surf and sift, but not for Hough transform, right?
You most probably will use another feature like orb or brisk which have similar performance.
