How to detect objects on the ground from a drone. The camera in not placed facing the ground, it has been placed at 45-degree angle. I also need to get the objects position (x,y,z) with reference to the Drone.

Have you tried googling anything? Any approaches that are your favorite? What do you know? Is the ground flat? level? Does the drone know position? relative position to previous times? orientation? landmarks?

You need to do a lot more research before you can ask intelligent questions. There has been a lot of work under the name SLAM: Simultaneous Localization And Mapping. Do some looking and figure out at least what area of the problem space you're in.
