How can I find out the latest OpenCV 3.1.0_x minor version number that is currently available. I use MacPorts to install and I would like to know if there is a more recent version that 3.1.0_3.

where do you actually find something like _3 ? it's not in here

can it be, it's a macports artefact ? (not set by opencv ?)

also see releases, the next one will be 3.2.0.

Yes, you are correct. The _3 likely comes from MacPorts. But I did not know that at the time.
