It works for the USB camera
>>> cap = cv2.VideoCapture(1)
>>> cap.isOpened()
True
It does not work for the IP Camera
>>> cap = cv2.VideoCapture('rtsp://user:[email protected]/onvif1')
>>> cap.isOpened()
False
It works only in "Media Player Classic" program.
Menu: open file/url -> enter the url >>> cap = cv2.VideoCapture('rtsp://986627:[email protected]/onvif1')
In sum: * Your friend's program works with my USB camera. * Your friend's program DOES NOT WORK with my IP Camera. cv2.isOpened() ;# IS FALSE WHEN INSTANTIATED.
