Thanks for the comments. I was able to get a python3 64-bit build after installing python3 with: 1) Run installer: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.6.1/python-3.6.1-amd64.exe Change default to install location C:\Python36
2) Then running C:\Python36\Scripts\pip3.exe install "package_amd64.whl" for these packages: http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/numpy-1.13.0+mkl-cp36-cp36m-win_amd64.whl http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/opencv_python-3.2.0-cp36-cp36m-win_amd64.whl
