About OpenCV answers

OpenCV Q&A forum
This is a website where you can find answers to your OpenCV questions. You can easily post questions and answers and find information on a variety of Computer Vision topics. You can also comment and vote on the questions and answers.The Answers are generally listed in order of number of votes, with the higher ranked answers near the top. Both questions and answers can be revised and improved. The questions can be tagged with keywords to simplify search.

There are no pre-requisites for asking or answering questions - just a good attitude and a helpful mindset! Join us!

Who controls the community?

Many OpenCV engineering and tech support employees monitor this forum and answer questions. There are several volunteer moderators and administrators who are active here and happy to help.

However, non-employees are encouraged to answer questions as well. So the OpenCV Q&A forum is moderated by its members. Moderation rights are gradually assigned to users based on the accumulated "reputation" points. As a community member, you can earn "reputation" points by helping other members of the community with their challenges. These points are added to a user's account when others vote for his/her questions or answers. Doing so increases your reputation and your visibility as an OpenCV expert.

The beauty of the OpenCV Q&A forum' underlying system is that it's dynamic, and each entry can be continually improved to provide the maximum utility to the members who visit the site. See a question that you think needs an additional tag? Simply add what you believe is appropriate to help the next person who looks for that search term.
