OpenNi2 and LibFreeNect2 Example [closed]

asked 2016-06-14 20:42:25 -0600

Is there any example code of using libfreenect2 and openni2 together. I am trying to build a hand skeleton or even just a skeleton, and nite seems to be the way to do this from what I can tell, but I just can't find any examples of how to use them together. I know that libfreenect2 does have a wrapper we can use, but I can't find any documentation on it, and I can seem to get the example that the installation readme for libfreenect2 speaks about. Cheers.

  1. What's the connection of this question with OpenCV???
  2. AFAIK Nite works only with Primesense sensors.
  3. AFAIK there is no OpenNI wrapper for libfreenect2.
  4. Use Kinect SDK for skeleton tracking with Kinect2. Probably it's the best solution (even if it's Windows only).
