Can I use an OpenCV python script with a USB3 Vision Standard camera? and with GigE Vision Standard ?

I want to make a Python 3.4 program to control a camera that has a USB3 vision standard. Is it possible with the new version of opencv? And if the camera has a gigE vision standard?
