Why hasn't Stitcher interface been exported to Java [closed]

Should I used the other java classes that call the the components in the stitching process. That seems likely to be very slow to move data across the Java/C++ boundary.

Probably because the wrapping of the complete stitcher class is far from stable in Java. The wrappers are not bug free and not all functionality is supported.
