Can the size of positive is different from negetive sample when creating samples in haartraining ?

I have some problems in doing this.

My positive samples are 64x128, and my negetive samples are 320x240. Will this cause the problem? should they be exact the same size?

No, it is not problem. It is recommendable (but not obrigatory) that the positive images be smaller than the negatives. I will copy the text of the following link that have some interesting tips in haartraining.

Should negative images have the same size? No. But the size should not be less than -w -h, which were put during vec file generation.vec file generation.
