Hi, have a DSLR Camera with fixed lens I want to calibrate (camera matrix, distortion coefficients) using chessboard. question is do I have to set up the manual focus to infinity for the calibrtion or leave autofocus on? Same question when pose estimating of Aruco Markers.
Appreciate your replies

you have to disable the autofocus before calibrating it, and leave it OFF forever.

also, never touch the manual focus then, else your calibration is invalid !

(wether or not you want to set the manual focus to infinity, depends on the distance / size of your calibration chessboard (and the expected distance to your aruco markers later). infinity will be blurry with short distance / small boards)
