FlashDetection in Video

First I'm complete new to OpenCV, so I don't know whether this is possible at all. Perhaps there are better, easier solutions. If so, please tell.

There's a video and there are about 1-3 (mainly only one frame) where is a strong change, because it is hit by a flash. When you step the video frame by frame you see about 20 - 25 % of the picture changed and then it is very similar like the frames before.

I've tried with scene detecion of a free video cut programm, but that didn't work out.

Can that be detected by OpenCV and how? When detected I need the position in the video. Thats all.
