Recommend solutions for speed bump and pop holes

Are there exist any solution to detect speed bump and pop holes? The best bet I could think of are semantic segmentation and using object detection based on deep learning.

As far as I know, in 2016, there is no way to detect speed bump reliable yet, any improvement after that?
