Hand recognition and tracking question.
My project needs hand recognition and tracking. I understand the difficulties of hand recognition and I would like some solutions and papers that deal with this complex problem. But what I currently want is detection of hands of a person who is oriented towards the camera. The hands are also away from the torso area. I want to be able to detect the hands at various orientations. Does anyone have any solutions?
Google scholar, type in hand detection and hand segmentation and you will be unable to read all of the paper hits before your project ends!
