How can I detect colored markers on the fingers through the camera?

[-1 downvote reason] Ow please, put in some effort if you expect a response. There is no sample image, there is no code or stuff you tried what so ever, no explanation of the situation, ... which results in such an open question that it is impossible to provide a good solution. BTW, if detecting color markers is an issue, I am wondering if guiding you to a basic computer vision book/class isn't a better option.
