High-end webcam: Canon XA35+elgato Camera Link

Hi! I have a Canon XA35. And i want to use with Open CV. So I am considering to buy a elgato Camera Link.

Does anyone have experience with similar configurations and OpenCV? Will OpenCV detect the device as a webcam? Will the streaming acquisition be correct? Does openCV work well with FullHD resolutions? Other considerations?

The elgato link is ok.But you to talk to local camera store about canon XA35 that comes with usb. Fortunately, I was looking at specification for usb. Talk to local store or call support tech. There is better cheaper called google chromecast. You can get ebay for US$10 to 18.00 range. It can view on phone too.
